The Old Course - Dom Pedro Golf Collection, Vilamoura

It is one of the most internationally recognized routes. The Old Course was opened in 1969 and is characterised by the pine frame that surrounds it. Worldwide it is several times nicknamed the “Grand Dame” of the Algarve golf courses. It has 18 holes (PAR 73) and has a parkland-style course, designed by Frank Pennink. Oceânico Victoria Golf Course, Quarteira

The Victoria Clube Golf is an 18-hole course (PAR 72) and has an area of 90 hectares and 6,560 metres long. In addition, it has a training camp. The club was designed by architect Arnold Palmer and privileges the care of nature.

The space  has lakes surrounding the entire court that serve as a water reservoir for irrigation. In 2005, Victoria Clube Golfe was host of the “World Cup Championships” and has hosted, since 2007, the Portugal Masters, being the stage of the biggest national Golf event. Opened in 1988, in Quinta do Lago, this course was designed by architects Joseph Lee and Rocky Roquemore, and has two courses, each with nine holes. San Lorenzo Golf Course is also one of the most famous golf courses in the Algarve.

Oporto Golf Club, Espinho

Oporto Golf Club is one of the oldest courses in Europe and the oldest in the Iberian Peninsula, having been created in 1890. The course has 18 holes, PAR 71, and the biggest challenge is the “nortadas”.

Oporto Golf hosts some of the oldest tournaments ever, namely the Skeffington, Dockery and Kendall Cups. Please note that, in this option, it is mandatory to present the duly updated handicap certificate, without which access to the field is not allowed.

Ribagolfe was opened in 2004 and is 40 minutes from the capital. The project was developed by Michael King, former player of the European Circuit, in collaboration with European Golf Design.

The course has 18 holes, PAR 72, with some ripples and several cork oaks, which allow for plays in authentic communion with nature. Ribagolfe hosts various tournaments and competitions and also features a gym for Adults and Juniors. Estela Golf Club, Póvoa do Varzim

Estela Golf Club, founded in 1987, was, in 2016, considered the “5th Best Golf Course in Portugal” and the 3rd best “links” course also in Portuguese territory. The course has 18 holes, two large lakes and the peculiarity of having been built in the sand dunes. In total, there are 62 hectares of area in an extension of about 3.5 km. The Vale Pisão Golf Club has nine holes and is part of a luxury residential complex with more than 150 hectares. The club takes advantage of the natural landscape of the valley, the slopes, vegetation and water lines for the perfect framing.

The field, designed by architect Jorge Santana da Silva, consists of 6,532 metres of course. Open since 2009, the Vale Pisão Golf Club is the stage of several tournaments.

Vidago Palace Golf Course, Chaves

Vidago Palace Golf, with almost 100 years of history, has 18 holes, PAR 72. Involved in the park of Vidago and in the beauty of its fauna and flora, Vidago Palace gives special importance to the comfort of visitors, having private lessons and rental of buggies, trolleys and clubs.
