Clock Tower

The Clock Tower is an iconic spot in Albufeira. What's so special about this tower? Unlike the usual bells, the bell of this tower is set in an iron crown. If you want to see the Clock Tower you can head to Bernardino de Sousa Street.

Municipal Gallery

The Municipal Gallery is part of the Albufeira City Hall building and has two floors. On the first floor, visitors can find exhibits and on the 2nd floor a bookshop is located.

Museum of Sacred Art (Church of St. Sebastian)

The Museum of Sacred Art is a part of the Church of São Sebastião. The church is located in Miguel Bombarda square. The museum features several pieces on display.

Salgados Lagoon

The Salgados Lagoon is the most notable birdwatching space in the Algarve. The lagoon is located on the old marshes of Pêra and can be visited without booking beforehand. However, if you want a guided tour, you can contact the Environment, Urban Hygiene and Green Spaces Division.

Pau da Bandeira Viewpoint

From the Pau da Bandeira viewpoint, you can see the historic centre of Albufeira and Praia dos Pescadores (the Fishermen’s beach). According to the municipality of Albufeira, “Pau da Bandeira is one of the most touristic places in the city, where millions of tourists stop to take a picture overlooking the Fishermen’s beach”.

Peneco Lift and Viewpoint

The lift has a height of 28 metres and transports people from Praia do Peneco to the viewpoint, where they can see the beach and the ocean. The elevator was created in 2009 and can be accessed free of charge.

Krazy World Zoo

Krazy World Zoo is an interactive Zoo in which visitors can interact with birds, turtles, rabbits, among other animals. In addition to animal visits and animal performances, you can take a dip in the park pools or try the minigolf. The Zoo also offers a restaurant and activities such as tree climbing, pedal karting, pony riding and paintball.


The Aquashow has an outdoor park and an indoor park. Fisherman's Beach

Fisherman's beach  is located near the Fishermen's Quarter and is close to shopping and catering areas. You can access the beach from Largo 25 de Abril and you can reach the beach from escalators. On the beach, you have access to bathrooms, bathing and recreational supports.

Falésia Beach

Falésia beach is highlighted because of its extension of sand and the cliffs that surround the space. The sand of the beach comes from the erosion of the cliff rocks.
